Ayrton Havana Brown Glasses

The Ayrton is a nod to the famed Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna.  With its bold and beautifully crafted design, this frame definitely makes the right statement, just as Senna did, consistently, on and off the racetrack.  Pick them up online from archibaldoptics.com

Vans: Sidestripe Origins

Our friends over at Nylon Guys Magazine put out a feature on the iconic Vans Sidestripe recently, and I felt I had to share it with you all.  The shoe itself transcends the skate and action sports world, and has become a part of classic Americana.  Check out what Nylon Guys had to say, and get your own Vans Sidestripes here.

Lacoste L!ve - Navy Sweater Style

So with the weather so unpredictable lately, I wanted to come up with a few options that are both warm as well as stylish. We decided to show three different navy sweaters from Lacoste L!ve that can be styled differently, but will give you a sharp, clean look.  We even threw in one for the ladies, because you know, we love our ladies and Lacoste makes some fantastic ladies product.  Check out the full Lacoste L!ve collection online.

Raf Simons - Fred Perry Winter Collection

Take a look at the new Raf Simons/Fred Perry Winter collection.  It is a stunning mix of collegiate prep, and modern street style, and comes together with colour, be it faded worn out colour.  Two of my favourites are the Collegiate Crew Neck sweater, and the knit V-Neck Letterman sweater.  Check out the full collection here.

Style Icon - Steve McQueen

Layering for Fall - Via StyleStandsAlone

Take a look at this article from our friends over at StyleStandsAlone for some examples of how to properly layer your look during this colder time of year.  Layering was driven into my mind during my time with one major American retailer, there were bust forms with shirt upon shit upon shirt to achieve just the right look; and now is the perfect time for putting this knowledge to use.  Check the article out here

Watch It! - SKAGEN DENMARK

This Skagen Denmark Klassic Men's Watch is exactly what we've been looking for this fall with a stylish, understated look, that is totally Nordic in its minimalism and futuristic, cool feel. Classic, functional design and supreme quality are trademarks of Skagen, and this timepiece is an excellent example of both.  Pick it up online here http://www.thebay.com/

All Day I Dream About Sports

Streetwear continues to evolve, but there is nothing like going back to your roots.  Adidas Originals does that with an authenticity and style that looks just as good now as it did on RUN DMC.  http://www.adidas.ca/originals/Originals,en_CA,sc.html

Kate Moss for Topshop

Kate Moss is back teaming up with Topshop to release a 40 to 50 piece line this spring.  Her first run with Topshop took place in 2007, but this time around the collection will include shoes in addition to clothing and accessories.  Garance Dore posed the question of whether or not Moss is still as relevant as a style icon the way she was in 2007, but I think there will be an extremely strong demand for this product and could push her back into the spotlight again. Garance Dore - Kate the Great

British Classics - Fred Perry White's

There is nothing more classic than the traditional white polo shirt, and no one does it better than Fred Perry.  Made in England, the Fred Perry M12 shirt has kept the same iconic styling since its original design in the 1950s.  This shirt has been a style icon over the years, rock stars and race car drivers a like shared the look, and even today it still holds a place as a staple for every man's casual wardrobe.  Check them out here Fred Perry Laurel Wreath Collection

Persol for All!

\
When you think of Persol sunglasses, it's hard not to think of Steve McQueen in the Thomas Crown Affair.  Persol, the storied Italian sunglass brand, has been the go-to style for the pro on the go.  Big names like Jay-Z, Ryan Gosling, Orlando Bloom and of course Mr. McQueen have all donned the storied brand, and added to its strength as a retro cool way to keep your eyes protected from the sun.  Don't think they're just for the guys though, cause we are all OK with a lady giving us her own take on these classics.  Check Persol out at http://www.persol.com/canada
