Streetwear Alert - LPD New York
If you are looking for a way to get your hands on some super high end designer names, without spending a couple grand in the process, it's time to check out LPD New York. The brand was started in 2012, and creates sick tee's and mesh jerseys adorned with the names of top designers, artists, and now even model Jessica Stam. Sales from Stam's shit will go to support Many Hopes, a charity that builds schools in Kenya, and then creates local businesses around the school in order to support it. Check them out and get your hands on a Coco of Karl jersey for yourself, we've got our eyes on a Stam shirt for real. http://lpdnyc.com/

Persol for All!
When you think of Persol sunglasses, it's hard not to think of Steve McQueen in the Thomas Crown Affair. Persol, the storied Italian sunglass brand, has been the go-to style for the pro on the go. Big names like Jay-Z, Ryan Gosling, Orlando Bloom and of course Mr. McQueen have all donned the storied brand, and added to its strength as a retro cool way to keep your eyes protected from the sun. Don't think they're just for the guys though, cause we are all OK with a lady giving us her own take on these classics. Check Persol out at http://www.persol.com/canada

Beardo or Weirdo? The Modern Beard
Anyways, there really isn't anything wrong with either of these looks. The thing that we as men need to remember is that we need to keep our beards soft for the lovely ladies that love us! No one wants to lean in for a kiss and end up with some serious bristle burn. Men need to take it on themselves to care for our beards, and by doing so we will be pleasing our women.

Toronto Premium Outlets - Great deals of major letdown?
One Halton Hills business reported to me that despite their concern for traffic dropping off in their store once the outlet opened in August, they have actually seen almost a 10% increase on last years numbers in consumer traffic. With big names such as Coach, Michael Kors, J Crew, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and more, it's no surprise that customers would flock to the Premium Outlets, but long term sustainability will require access to the centre through public transit. Currently, there is not municipal public transit in Halton Hills, making the Premium Outlets entirely a "destination" based shopping experience, unable to rely on the person passing by and wandering in to supplement their sales.
Their location which is right by the highway, is not accessible to people without cars, and in a lot of cases that is teenagers. Teens are the quickest to make impulse purchases, and in many cases are part of the target demographic for a lot of these retailers. Until teens can access the shops easily, it may be hard for some of these stores to survive once the luster of the new shopping centre wears off. Check out the Toronto Premium Outlets full range of offerings on their website http://www.torontopremiumoutlets.ca/
