If you were like me, you may have caught a young Sophie Tweed-Simmons on the reality TV show "Gene Simmons, Family Jewels", after all the show ran for 8 seasons, and brought the children of super-couple Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed into the spotlight. Well Sophie has grown up since the show went off the air, and she seems to have become a strong roll model for young women and for the fight against the manipulation of the female body image.
Sophie recently did an extended interview with Yahoo! Style that talks about her growth as a woman, and her development from reality tv star to fashion designer. She now designs a line called Sophie x TheStyleClub that consists of floral leggings, loose cardigans, and sequined skirts that reflect both Tweed-Simmons’s style, and her respect for the strong women that she idolized.
